VPN Information

The Dominican University VPN (virtual private network) allows faculty and staff to securely access our intranet while off campus.

To request VPN access, complete the Elevated Account Access Request Form.  Return the completed and signed form to the Support Center for processing.  Once access is completed, follow the instructions below to log in.


Dominican University VPN

You must have the NetExtender VPN client installed on your computer for the remote VPN connection. The VPN client supports Windows and Mac OS. Please note: any versions of Palo Alto Global Protect VPN client is no longer needed and could be uninstalled.

On installation, it is highly recommended that you have administrator rights on the computer. If the computer is owned by Dominican University and you are unable to install the client, please contact the Support Center at (708) 524-6888.

For Windows, click to download the NetExtender VPN Client here and complete the installation on your computer. This only needs to be one time for the client installation. After installation is completed, launch the NetExtender application and enter the information including your network username and password as follows and click to Connect.

For Android devices, visit the "Mobile Connect for Android client" to download from the Google Play store.
